Wendy Jones, Governor of Rotary District 6380, visited the Rotary Club of Dexter to share her perspectives and vision for 2025-2026.
The Rotary Club of Dexter was pleased to welcome Wendy Jones of the Anchor Bay Rotary Club as our special guest on September 25.  Wendy is serving as the 2025-2026 District Governor for Rotary District 6380, which includes Dexter among the 46 clubs and 1300 Rotarians in parts of Oakland, Macomb, and Washtenaw counties in Michigan, and southwest Ontario, Canada.  We were also joined by Assistant Governor Scott Nelson from the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor North, and Dan Cooney from the Encore Musical Theater Company.

Wendy shared her vision to bring clubs out of the club and into the district, while discussing various opportunities to engage in district-wide events like Paws for Polio planned for September 27 in Livonia.  Wendy also discussed membership initiatives including companion clubs, which the district can help launch, and some innovative fundraising ideas like the reverse raffle.  She wrapped up by encouraging members to attend the Foundation Gala and District Conference which will take place in Ontario, Canada, in May 2026.
