The Rotary Club of Dexter recently went back to Dexter High School (DHS) for a joint meeting with the DHS Interact Club.

On November 6 the Rotary Club of Dexter joined with members of the Dexter High School Interact Club for breakfast and merging of traditions.  The Rotarians brought breakfast, the Four Way Test and Happy Dollars, while the Interactors brought the bell to convene and adjourn the meeting, an impressive presentation showing their activities and plans for 2025-2026, and boundless enthusiasm for meeting new friends and perhaps for being excused from their first hour classes.

Discussions highlighted opportunities for Rotary to join the annual Interact winter clothing drive to benefit Stockbridge Community Outreach after Thanksgiving, and Rotary President-Elect Tom Morris shared his ambition to build stronger connections with the Interact Club and to develop a community service project related to the Pat and Paul Cousins Trail through Mill Creek Park in Dexter.
